What time does the race start?

The Stacks Half Marathon starts at 10am.

The 10k walkers start at 10:30am

The 10k runners start at 11am.

Can walkers participate? 

Yes, walkers are welcome to participate in the 10km event.

Is there a minimum age to participate in the half marathon & 10k?

Participants must be 18 years or older to compete in the half marathon and 15 years or older to compete in the 10k race/walk.

Where do the races start and finish?

The start and finish line is in Kilflynn Village outside Parker’s Pub and Beer Garden.

A race briefing for both races will take place 10 mins before the start time.

Where can I park?

There is ample parking in the village centre where registration takes place.

Stewards will be there to direct parking.

Is the race chip timed?

Yes by JustRace.ie 

Where do I collect my race pack / register?

Race pack collection & registration takes place at the St Columba’s Community Centre, Kilflynn, V92 X272, as follows:

On Friday 25th April from 7pm to 8.30pm.

On Saturday 26th April from 8:30am. 

Is there a bag drop facility?

Yes, the St. Columba’s Community Centre, Kilflynn will be available at the start and finish.

Will there be Water Stations on the course?

Water stations will be positioned at regular intervals along the half marathon route. There will be one water station on the 10K route. 

What is included in the registration fee?

All registered entrants will receive a medal, t-shirt and after race food and refreshments.

Where is the after-race food and refreshments?

After race food and refreshments will be available from 12.30pm at Parker’s Pub & Beer Garden.

Are there prizes?

There are trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male & female for the Half marathon & 10Km race. All finishers will receive a medal.
